Criminal helping the FBI
That’s what Mary Hodder thinks SEO people are anyway, the bad guys, invited to MS’ Search Champs to help the good guys. First time I ever heard MS labeled the good guys 
And that doesn’t seem to be restricted to those that practice the riskier arts of SEO, nope, that’s just anyone involved with improving the visibility of sites in search engines.
As someone who defines their site as somewhere that:
focuses on positive, fair-use and legal examples of peer-to-peer file sharing of works approved by their creators
You’d think she should know better considering the hassle file sharers get about video/music piracy regardless of whether they download files legally or illegally.
Now I know some stuff about SEO, I could certainly learn more, but I impliment a few things on this site, such as making the URL’s look a bit more search engine friendly. I did that at work too, by just changing URL’s that had loads of variables in, to URL’s that look like directory structures, suddenly Google was able to crawl it properly and something like doubled our traffic from Google.
Not exactly criminal, helping Search Engines crawl a site more easily eh Mary?
